On the other, watching them live, their energy is unmistakable and addictive. Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole and G. Hastings met when they were children and have been swimming against the tide ever since. Influenced by a variety of inspirations, they began to create a unique sound with their early recordings. And then the albums Dead (winner of the prestigious Mercury Prize), White Men Are Black Men Too and Cocoa Sugar. Their latest album Heavy Heavy is a collage of ideas and inspirations, welded together with unbridled energy and passion.
