Yelling Orangutans

Yelling Orangutans are a band from Prague's Vinohrady district, based on the sound of the American and British rock scene.

The first chords were played together by Honza Mahdal (guitar, vocals) and Jarda Hruska (guitar, vocals) in the late nineties. After finishing primary school, their paths diverged, only to meet again by chance in 2018. The first chance meetings gave birth to the future repertoire and sound of the band. In 2020, experienced bassist Adam Lesikar joined the project and the hunt for a drummer to add drive to the existing guitar riffs began. In the spring of 2021, Patrik Jonáš joined as the last missing member and by the autumn the band managed to play its first three concerts.
