Yacarandá
Yacarandá was founded by the Swiss vibraphonist Lucas Dorado, who, through his father, has a close connection to Argentina and Latin American jazz. His music has a very special swing that alternates between down-to-earth and danceable rhythms as well as dreamy melodies. Lucas has just graduated from the Jazz Institute. His band comprises a total of five musicians, including the legendary Argentine percussionist Topo Gioia and the aspiring singer Maja Magedli, the Chilean Sven Holscher can be heard on the bass.
