XIII. století

XIII. století is a Czech musical group that characterizes its music as gothic rock. According to interviews with its frontman Petr Štěpán, XIII. století distances itself from any association with the work or focus of bands describing themselves as metal-gothic or doom-gothic. The band was formed in 1990 from the punk band HNF (Hrdinové nové fronty) and released their first album Amulet two years later. This band is popular mainly in Poland.
