WSTR
The music group WSTR was formed in 2015 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. It originally performed under the name Waster, which was later changed to WSTR due to a naming conflict with another band. Their music falls within the pop punk genre, and the group cites influences such as Blink-182, New Found Glory, and Sum 41.
In 2015, the band released its debut EP SKRWD under the label No Sleep Records. This was followed by performances at British and European festivals and tours that helped introduce the band to a wider audience. In January 2017, WSTR released its first studio album Red, Green or Inbetween, also through No Sleep Records. During this period, the band completed its own UK headline tour titled The Inbetween Tour and participated in additional live projects across Europe.
In 2018, the group signed with Hopeless Records and released the single Bad to the Bone. Later, in August 2018, WSTR released its second studio album Identity Crisis. During this time, the band performed at international festivals and embarked on a North American tour alongside Neck Deep and other artists.
At the end of 2021, WSTR signed with the label Life or Death Records and released the single Jobbo. In 2022, the band followed with the single Bot Lobby and carried out a UK headline tour that concluded in Liverpool. In January 2023, the single *3 Days Sober *was released, and in May of the same year, the band presented its third studio album ’Til the Wheels Fall Off.
