Woo Syrah

Woo Syrah is a trio from Berlin. The alternative rock and grunge band was founded by T. Aschmann, who already wrote his own songs at the age of 14. Born in Luxembourg, he was influenced by grunge and alternative rock bands of the 1990s and later by psychedelia from the 1960s as well as contemporary indie.

After local success and tours. abroad, he released his first EP Verlin in 2015 and formed a space-pop duo in Vienna in 2016. Two albums resulted, dissolving the boundaries between dream pop, jazz, electronica and triphop. A year later, Aschmann moved to Berlin, where Woo Syrah released two self-produced singles as a trio.

The debut album Stone, by followed in 2021 with the single Heavy Winter as the first release.
