Vladimír Václavek
Vladimír Václavek’s musical beginnings are connected with Iva Bittová and Pavel Fajt. He founded the bands Dunaj, Rale, VRM, Theatre Royal and was at the birth of Čikori, E, Josef Boys, Klar and Edel.
He has played at prestigious festivals in Europe and overseas, such as Mimi festival Marseille (F), Ring Ring Beograd (YUG), Victoriaville (CAN), Mediawave Györ (HUN), Tanec Praha (CZ), Avignon festival (F). He has collaborated with Ferdinand Richard on the CD Arminius, with Tom Cora on the CD Bílé Inferno, and plays in the Josef Boys group with Marcus Therofal and in a duo with Miloš Dvořáček.
Musically he participates, dances and plays in the Japanese-French-Czech ensemble Kublaï Khan Investigation. He records his solo CDs, which he also plays in concerts. He has performed throughout Europe, the USA, Canada, Africa, China, Hong Kong, Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, Brazil and Iceland.
