V9

V9 is a place created by Vlepvnet collective to celebrate urban art, street art and related phenomena. We present exhibitions, conduct workshops and discussions, and provide artists with space and tools for creative activities. They try to present an in-depth look at the graffiti and street art. They reject decorative and instrumental treatment of urban art. We draw out what’s swept under the carpet: the ugly forms, impolite emotions. Currently, V9 is best known for its Selfisz screenprinting events, which are an opportunity to print graphics by talented artists on a T-shirt or, for example, a bag, often serving as benefits for mutual aid and charity groups.
