Uzi Freyja
Uzi Freyja is the musical project of Kelly Rose, an artist originally from Cameroon who lives in France. The project was created in 2019 at an open-mic event in Nantes in collaboration with producers Stuntman5 and FotonDanger. Her work combines elements of hip-hop, punk and electronic music. The lyrics are mostly in English and often deal with themes of identity, physicality and the status of women. She has released two EPs, Stand (2021) and Lunacy (2022), under the Warrior Records label. She has performed at several French festivals and won the Prix Chorus award in 2023.
