Ural Thomas & The Pain
In 2014, Ural met drummer and bandleader Scott Magee at a Sunday jam session and so Ural Thomas and The Pain was born. The whole band got down to business, touring extensively, touring the world and releasing four well-received albums. Ural Thomas is recognised as one of the most exciting vocalists of the old school soul generation. Thomas made a name for himself in the 1960s with Stone Cold Soul releases such as: Pain Is The Name Of Your Game, Can You Dig It, Deep Soul and the 1964 recording debut Push - Em Up by The Monterays. His musical adventure began in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, and led him to Los Angeles, Cincinnati and New York. In the course of it, he has shared the stage with everyone from James Brown to Stevie Wonder to Otis Redding to Etta James.
