Unida
Unida is an American stoner rock band that was formed in 1998 by John Garcia, who was previously a member of the bands Kyuss and Slo Burn. After the break-up of Kyuss in 1995, vocalist John Garcia joined the band Slo Burn. Garcia already knew the future members of Unida, Artur Siaja and Miguel Cancina, and considered them to be exceptional musicians and lyricists. Therefore, after Slo Burn ended in 1998, he initiated the formation of a band with them. Current line-up does not feature Garcia as a vocalist for the first time, with Mark Sunshine from the band Riotgod taking over that role, while Colin Mccoy from the Ultra Electric band Mega Galactic also appeared on bass for the first time.
