Underworld
Creators of the timeless Born Slippy (Nuxx), which in 1996 became the anthem of a generation due to its inclusion in the soundtrack to the film Trainspotting. The success of the single teleported the band from the underground to the heart of the mainstream. Over the next two decades, Underworld built on the success of the single, never relinquishing their artistic ambitions. They sold many millions of records, played a huge number of concerts, produced music for films by directors such as Anthony Minghella and Danny Boyle, and even soundtracked the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. Following the commercial success of their Grammy-nominated album Barbara Barbara, We Face a Shining Future, Underworld returned with a series of Drift recordings. On 1 November 2019, a summary of these efforts was released under the title Drift Series 1.
