Tomasz Licak
Tomasz Licak - saxophonist, composer, graduate of the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense (2012) and Rhytmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, where he completed the elite postgraduate diploma (Soloist Advanced Postgraduate Diploma). Winner of numerous awards, including Grand Prix Jazz nad Odrą 2013, Grand Prix of Bielsko Zadymka Jazzowa 2010, individual prize Krokus Jazz Festival 2009. Scholarship holder of the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship 2012 and Artistic Stipenidum of the City of Szczecin 2017 and the Danish ERMA Fonden program.
As a leader and member of many bands, he has been actively performing for many years almost all over the world, in Europe (mainly in Poland, Denmark, Germany, as well as in England and Lithuania) and Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar). He works with many music publishing houses, among others Polish Multikulti, RecArt or Danish Calibrated, Gateway, Blackout.
He actively participates in the life of the artistic milieu of Poland and Denmark. In addition to regular concert activities, both club and festival, she gives in many artistic initiatives. He directs Pomeranian Youth Big Band, connecting professional musicians as well as students and students.
