Tom Schilling & The Jazz Kids
Tom Schilling & The Jazz Kids is a group of very competent musicians and a multi-talented actor who revives classic moratas and songs from the abyss, but also the tradition of German chanson, reminiscent of early Element of Crime, Weill, Waits and Brecht. Tom Schilling has been carrying around a mountain of song ideas for years, but it wasn't until the filming of the highly acclaimed low-budget movie Oh Boy that the spark was lit to launch his musical career. During the filming, Schilling who played the main role met the musicians of the band The Major Minors who had been hired to write the title score. In 2017 they released their debut album Vilnius.
