Tiësto

Tiësto is the world-renowned Dutch DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. In the past, used several aliases, however most of his work is known under the name of DJ Tiësto. In the latest production but deleted a "DJ" and is known simply as "Tiësto". This nickname is a derivative of the name in childhood.

Founded in 1997 with a friend Arns Blinkem label Black Hole Recordings, where their first CD released; Magik and In Search of Sunrise. In the years 1999 and 2000 with the Ferry Fellow own trance movement called Gouryella. In 2000, made a remix of the song of Silence from the band Delerium stating Sarah McLachlanovou. Just after the release of second album Just Be introduced in 2004 at the opening ceremony of the summer Olympics in Athens. This became the first DJ to play live on in the history of the Olympic Games. Especially for this ceremony has created several songs, which were later combined into one mix and issued at the end of the year. In April 2007 Tiësto album Elements of Life, already the third album. In the Netherlands, and the USA, the album debuted at number one in the ratings in the first place, and in 2008 it was nominated for a Grammy Award. The latest, in order for the fourth album, Kaleidoscope, was released in October 2009.
