Thikwa, what means hope in Hebrew, is an artistic and social experiment that aims to bring theatre plays onto the stage working with disabled and non-disabled artists. These are produced and created in the own Thikwa-lab for theatre and art, partly also in cooperation with other theatre groups. They cover the genres theatre, performance, music, language and dance as well as their relatives. Besides, Thikwa has organised numerous exhibitions.

Besides an aesthetics that underlines the differences and similarities between the actors, the development of new methods of support and rehabilitation in combination with artistic working processes are in the foreground.
