Theater am Rand
The Theater am Rand is located on the eastern edge of Germany, in Zollbrücke an der Oder. Here, nature and art enter into a symbiosis and there is room for up to 200 spectators.
Actor Thomas Rühmann and accordionist Tobias Morgenstern run the private theater at the river Oder. They perform plays based on literary texts, often with specially composed music. In addition, there are many guest artists with readings, theater projects and children's performances. Well-known musicians make regular guest appearances, especially with jazz and swing.
A highlight is the annual International Accordion Festival with young, innovative artists. Every summer, the German-Polish singer-songwriter festival LiederLauschen am Rand takes place.
