The Progressive Wave

In 2014 the two choreographers and theater makers Matan Zamir and Gal Naor founded The Progressive Wave together, a performative project bringing together dance, performance art and visual art in thought-provoking theater settings.

Their artistic aim is to translate spiritual ideas from various cultures into an innovative audiovisual and performative language. Collaborating with a range of performers, their work celebrates differences and diversity.

Their first production, BodieSlanguage is a collaboration with Berlin-based choreographer duo Matanicola. In 2016, supported by the ID Festival, The Progressive Wave made themselves a name with their Science of Signs performance trilogy, a theatric triptych exploring the relations between science, performance and spirituality.
