The Mono Jacks
The Mono Jacks from Bucharest are somewhere between alternative and post punk: a collection of thoughts and feelings in musical form. Influences are Interpol or The National. Founded in 2008 in Bucharest, the group has now formed all around Doru Trăscău (vocals and guitar), Cristian Chiru (bass), Andrei Zamfir (guitar) and John Ciurea (drums). In 2010 they released their first full album Now in Stereo, followed by EP Fortunes (2011) and Uşor Distorsionat (2017).
