The Hu
Рок, Фольклор | The Hu was founded in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar. In the fall of 2018, The Hu released two videos on the Internet (Wolf Totem in September and Yuve Yuve Yu in November), which quickly gained more attention. At the beginning of January 2019, they had a total of eight million views, and at the beginning of July 2019 it had already reached 33 million. Their first album called The Gereg was released on September 13, 2019. The Hu themselves call their style of music Hunnu Rock. They use traditional Mongolian musical instruments such as the horse-head violin, the Mongolian guitar and also use traditional Mongolian undertone singing.
