The Glitch Mob
EDM, Електронічна музика | A group of three The Glitch Mob renowned for its technologically-cut live performances, combining performance and DJing at various controllers, play a unique combination glitch, dubstep, electro and rock elements, which in world increasingly gains in popularity.
The Glitch Mob was formed in 2006 within the burgeoning Los Angeles bass-driven "beat" scene. Originaly four members (edIT, Boreta, Kraddy and Ooah) armed with laptops and MIDI controlers, influenced with IDM and hip-hop scene, fought their way to dance floors all over the world. They were finding inspiration in Flying Lotus, Samiyam or Aphex Twin. Music is characterized by the use of sound effects made to resemble a computer or machine encountering some sort of technical problem (aka glitching).
They released album Drink the sea (2010), EP We can Make the World Stop (2011) and in February 2014 there will be new album Love Death Immortality
