The Basel Chamber Orchestra

Basel Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1984 by graduates of the major Swiss music schools. Programs compiled from the imaginative combination of old and new music and play a significant role in the cultural life of the region through its subscription series and various projects, approaching music to the public. The orchestra has implemented many opera productions and recordings. Among its permanent conductor include Giovanni Antonioni, Paul McCreesh and Kristjan Järvi.
