Teyas
Teyas is an audiovisual collaboration between the WIDT sisters' duo (Antonina Nowacka and Bogumiła Piotrowska) from Warsaw and Christoph de Babalon, a breakbeat producer from Berlin. It was created as a result of a joint performance during the Eastern Daze x Berlin festival in 2016, and a year later resulted in the album Teyas. It's an abstract opera - a mix of vocal in non-existent Nowacka language and de Babalona's improvised electronics, in which each visualization and track creates a separate pseudo-dramatic reality. The project oscillates between concert, performance, installation and video art, giving the impression of an extraterrestrial reality escaping the stage.
