Teatr Współczesny w Szczecinie

A professional theater scene staging contemporary plays, classics of drama and, occasionally, performances for children. The theatre is managed by its chief executive Mirosław Gawęda (since 2009) and artistic director Anna Augustynowicz (since 1992). The theatre, now regarded as one of the leading stages in Poland, was established in 1976 after the separation of the State Dramatic Theatres established in the 1950s.
