Swallow the Sun
Swallow the Sun is a Finnish metal band founded in 2000 by Juha Raivio. The band started recording their debut The Morning Never Came 2003. 2005 followed with Ghosts of Loss their second album. The single *Forgive Her ... * rose to number 4 on the Finnish charts in the week of its release. The album reached number 8.
In addition to touring Europe and North America, Swallow The Sun recorded another five albums, including their latest When A Shadow Is Forced Into The Light of 2019. After several changes, the band today consists of Mikko Kotamäki (vocals), Juha Raivio (guitar), Juho Räihä (guitar), Jaani Peuhu (keyboard, vocals), Matti Honkonen (bass) and Juuso Raatikainen (drums).
