SPS
Snížená pracovní schopnost, abbreviated as SPS, is a famous Czech punk band formed in 1988 in Prague from former members of the band Defekt. In the early 1990s, the band drew attention to itself by clashing with supporters of the skinhead movement. The lyrics of SPS are based on local, Czech problems and react to the current situation, therefore some older lyrics can be described as outdated – the lyrics are usually politically engaged. The music is based on classic punk patterns such as Clash, Dead Kennedys or Exploited. Over time, some metal elements have been incorporated.
