Sooma

Sooma is a German singer and DJ who spent her childhood in Montpellier and was first exposed to soul before turning to underground dance music.

Arriving in the public space in 2015 with Bold, a collaboration with David Mayer of Keinemusik, she continued to explore the driving varieties of deep house; percussive, tribal and certainly inextricably coupled with a childhood spent listening through her father's LP collection, which paired George Clinton with St. Germain and original Malagasy music.
