Sonar Kollektiv was founded in 1997 by the internationally renowned Berlin DJ and producer team Jazzanova. The intention was to create an independent record label and publisher with a worldwide independent distribution network. With more than 500 catalogue releases over the last few years, including such well known artists as Micatone, Fetsum, Clara Hill, Âme, Dixon, Fat Freddy's Drop, Slope and of course Jazzanova themselves, Sonar Kollektiv can claim to be one of the strongest and best known German labels.
