Solivar Museum

Solivar in Prešov is a national cultural monument and is one of the most important technical monuments in Slovakia. It is a complex of technical buildings for pumping and cooking salt from brine from the 17th century. Visitors of the museum, which belongs to the Slovak Technical Museum, can learn about the mining, production, processing and use of this "white gold".
