Slovenské národné múzeum
The Slovak National Museum (SNM) is a top state collection, scientific research and cultural-educational institution in the field of museum activities in the Slovak Republic.
On the basis of research and scientific research, it collects, documents, professionally processes, scientifically evaluates, protects, makes accessible and uses in the public interest collection items as evidence of the development of Slovak nature and society, the Slovak nation and ethnic communities. It performs tasks related to the creation, registration and protection of collections as part of the national cultural heritage.
SNM currently manages 18 specialized museums. The residential building is located on the Danube embankment in Bratislava.
