Scorpions
Scorpions are a German rock band formed in 1965 in Hanover by guitarist and sole continuous member Rudolf Schenker. Since the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock and heavy metal through glam metal to soft rock. The lineup from 1978 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, producing the rock radio hits Rock You Like a Hurricane and Wind of Change, the latter becoming a symbolic anthem of the political changes in late 1980s Europe, including the fall of the Berlin Wall. Over their six decades on stage, they have released twenty-four studio albums, the latest being 2022's Rock Believer.
