The group’s name is a play on a 1972 Cumbia-hit by Los Santos buthints thereby to only one of many of its musical influences. Apartfrom 70’s Latin sounds, the Berlin based band also incorporates Turkish psych and polyrhythmic desert grooves of the same era intogritty garage rock. Characterised by that eclectic vibe, catchy guitarriffs and a driving rhythm section, SATURNO 4000’s songs have acompelling edge and moving quality to them.
