Rikas
Rikas is a German indie-pop band from the Stuttgart area that formed in 2016. The band consists of Sam Baisch, Chris Ronge, Sascha Scherer, and Ferdinand Hübner, with all members contributing to both vocals and instrumentation. The band’s early days were marked by street performances and DIY recordings, which they distributed at concerts.
Their first official release was the EP Swabian Samba (2018), followed by their debut album Showtime (2019). In the following years, the group continued recording with the EPs Short Stories (2021) and Goodbye Sunshine (2022), collaborating with various producers and developing their original approach. At the same time, they performed at concerts and festivals in Europe and beyond, participating in tours both as a supporting act and as a standalone project.
Since 2023, the band has been signed to Nettwerk Music Group. In 2025, they released their second studio album, Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet, which builds on their previous work and represents the current phase of their discography.
