Rat Kru
Rat Kru is a Poznań-based duo performing hip house music inspired by the club sounds of the 90s. They liked the symbolism of a rat as an intelligent animal, an outcast who at the same time was perceived as a repugnant creature living off the beaten track. Responsible for the musical layer, Rat One (Witold Skrzypczak) guarantees whipping with hard beats, and well-known for his solo activities, Papa Musta (Paweł Horbowy) paints fragments of reality in imaginative texts. They define their music themselves as concrete samba, captivating crowds to dance at concerts and festivals both in Poland (Spring Break, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Męskie Granie) and abroad (Tallinn Music Week, Estonia; Seasplash Festival, Croatia).
