Queen
Queen are an English rock music group, which has its beginnings in 1968 (when they started as a trio called the Smile).
It is considered one of the best and most influential bands of all time. Originally in the 1970 's group consisted of guitarist Brian May, lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, and drummer Roger Taylor, a few months later, they added bassist John Deacon. Brian May started The Others in the group, founded in 1969, with Taylor band Smile. Both, however, shortly after its inception unraveled, and 19. February 1971 along with other teammates for the first time under the name "Queen".
Starting in 1973, they released fifteen Studio albums, five live, and a number of compilations and singles. 18 occupied their recordings, the first on the album charts around the world (eg. Bohemian Rhapsody, Under Pressure or Innuendo). During its history received a number of awards for live music, the sales concept albums and musical contribution. Their performance at Live Aid in 1985 has been chosen the best concert of all time. In 2001, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, about a year later on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The band does not fall apart after the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, even after the retirement of John Deacon in 1997. With the new singer Paul Rodgers (for the first time in 2005 – 2010) Act under the name Queen + Paul Rodgers. The year 2006 was marked by a North American tour, moreover, reported a return to the Studio – for the first time after 13 years. In 2008 released a new album The Cosmos Rocks tour, a new feature was recorded on the DVD Live In Ukraine, which was released in 2009. Concert at the Kharkiv 350 000 people visited the square. Queen excelled over other groups of their original songs, interesting connection was rock with Opera in the Bohemian Rhapsody, on Freddie's voice range and showmanstvím. The Group gave the characteristic sound of the electric guitar, Brian Maye, produced from an old fireplace.
