Profile Foundation

The Profile Foundation, established in 2008, carries out exhibition, publishing, research and educational activities. The foundation's programme is aimed at promoting contemporary art, providing access to and popularising knowledge about contemporary visual culture and its traditions, as well as research and archiving work in the field of 20th century art. Exhibition activities are geared towards presenting outstanding contemporary artists and promoting young artists, showcasing the avant-garde traditions of the art of the 1960s and 1970s (both Polish and international), as well as projects addressing social issues and issues of historical and cultural reinterpretation. The programme includes exhibitions shown at the foundation's headquarters and projects presented in other spaces in collaboration with other institutions.
