The origins date back to 1964, when Luboš Ogoun, Pavel Smok and Vladimir Vašut based original Studio Ballet Prague. The idea of the Prague Ballet choreographer Pavel Smok followed in 1975 and founded the Prague Chamber Ballet. The emergence of this set was a big turning point in the development of the then Czechoslovak ballet.
