Portair is a musician, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter born in Sydney, now living in Los Angeles.
In 2020, he released the single Lying To Myself, which reached millions of streams. This was followed by the EP The Light That Gives (2021) and the EP The Ice That Breaks (2022). In 2023, he released an EP titled Learning How To Die, recorded in Joshua Tree, featuring collaborations with VÉRITÉ, Wynn, and Emily James. His track Gloaming Hour went viral, particularly on TikTok, gaining millions of streams. On Apple Music, he released the album Driftwood Choir with ten tracks, which came out in March 2025.
Portair is also the author of original theme songs and has contributed music to programs on Netflix, NBC, MTV, and CBS.
