Piqi Miqi
R&B, Електронічна музика | Economist turned musician, Piqi Miqi, took a giant leap when he left the USA and moved to Prague, Czech Republic. There, he began to nurture his talent for music and slowly developed his own sound which he coined 'new-wave Funk'. Inspired by music’s greats, Piqi extracts the essence of R&B, disco, rock, hip-hop, and new-wave and throws them in a funky blender. The self-taught singer, keyboardist, and guitarist also produces all his music giving him a signature sound that is easily recognizable – groovy bass lines, flamboyant vocals, and syncopated synths over punchy drums are his favorite ingredients. Besides music, he produces his own music videos, models, acts in films, commercials, and tv-series and organises nightlife and cultural events.
