Paradise Lost

Nick Holmes, Greg Mackintosh, Aaron Eddy and Stephen Edmondson have been the core of Paradise Lost since 1988. Since 2016 the rhythm section is completed by Waltteri Väyrynen. The band has become an iconic group for doom and death metal music; they have also made a turn towards more popular, gothic aesthetics, and once they have even made a voltaire towards the music of á la Depeche Mode on the album Host. In recent years, the group has returned to the roots of death doom music.
