Očima kurátorů: Tibetský Nový rok

February 18 marks the Tibetan New Year, or Losar. This lecture will introduce Tibetan customs associated with the arrival of the New Year and present selected Tibetan paintings and sculptures from the newly opened exhibition Asian Art Through Space and Time. Lecturer: Lenka Gyaltso.

The series Through the Eyes of Curators offers the perspective of those who work with art collections on a daily basis, caring for them and examining them in detail. In each meeting, the curator focuses on a selected part of the exhibition, shares the topics of their research and key questions, and draws attention to details that normally remain hidden. The commentary combines expert insight with an accessible form and invites open dialogue.
