Nová sekce
Nová Sekce (The New Section) is a Czech bluegrass band from Prague, formed in 1988. From the beginning, the main focus of the band was their own work, which was initially influenced by underground, jazz, rock, reggae and also the New Grass Revival. After personnel changes in the mid-1990s, the band moved closer to the traditional concept of bluegrass, playing in a distinctive modern way and combining original songs sung in Czech with borrowed compositions in the repertoire.
