Nobuntu

Nobuntu is a-cappella group of five talented young 608 from Bulawaya in Zimbabwe. Their repertoire is a fusion of traditional music rooted in Zimbabwe, Gospel music, afrojazzu and the genre of crossover Sung clean voices accompanied by minimalistic percussion, traditional instruments (such as the mbira) and dance moves. The group is a new generation of young singers that celebrate and preserve the culture, beauty and heritage, through its arts.

Nobuntu arose when it turned out that in Bulawayu and in the whole of Zimbabwe lacked the professional women's group a-cappella. The Mission of the file is the belief that music is the most important and original way to overcome racial, tribal, religious, gender and economic constraints. Nobuntu celebrates their songs and dance of being African women. Their voices, energy and breathtaking performance on stage is an experience which shall establish contact with the human aspect of any of us. The name "Nobuntu" expresses humility, love, intention, harmony and family from the female perspective.

Currently, the members of the Group were Heather Dubé, Joyline Sibanda, Duduzile, Zanele Sibanda and Moyo Mahnenga Thandeka. The release of their debutových 11 tracks in the album of the year 2013 named THINA is immediately received the first international tour of Europe in November of the same year the band played in concert halls and festivals, mainly in Germany and Austria.
