Nilüfer Yanya is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter whose sounds are referred to as alternative R&B indie. She describes her music as "raw" and says: "... even if the song is ready, it still sounds rough in a way." Nilüfer grew up listening to Nina Simone and Amy Winehouse, and now she is a fan of The xx and King Krule. The artist has written her Small Crimes EP, Plant Feed EP and released her Do It Like Pain? EP this year.
