Muzeum Warszawy

The museum is housed in eleven interconnected old town houses – eight on the Dekert side of the Old Town Square and three on Nowomiejska Street.

The museum collects, researches and makes accessible all things Warsaw. The main exhibition starts from the history of individual objects to tell the story of events and people who determined the shape and character of contemporary Warsaw. The museum has a cinema and a shop with Warsaw souvenirs. In addition to the main building on the Old Town Square, the museum has a number of other branches, including the Praga Museum and the Pharmacy Museum. The main exhibition and temporary exhibitions are accompanied by a programme of educational activities and guided tours with curators.
