MoRuf
MoRuf (born Moruf Adedayo Adewunmi) comes from Irvington, New Jersey. His debut took place in 2011 with the release of the album Garden State of Mind: Ready to Live. In 2012, he followed up with a collaboration with a producer, resulting in the project Euphoria. In 2013, he released the album Shades.of.Moo.
In the following years, he continued his active musical work, and in March 2024 he released the EP Tiny Mic Raps Vol. 1. Most recently, he prepared and released another project titled MOOLODIC: Hotep Luxury (2025).
MoRuf’s musical style combines elements of hip-hop and rap with more melodic and experimental influences. His work is characterized by diversity — ranging from traditional rap beats to atmospheric, rhythmic compositions. His lyrics reflect personal experiences, life changes, and inner themes.
