Miłosz Pieczonka

Miłosz Pieczonka – saxophonist, composer and project leader comes from Bielsko-Biała, where he graduated from the Stanisław Moniuszko State Music School and continues his studies at the Jazz Institute at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. He is active on the Polish music scene giving concerts all over Poland and winning both solo and ensemble awards at competitions. He is the author of the duets project, in which he has the pleasure to cooperate with, among others, Marcin Masecki, Kamila Drabek, Krzysztof Dziedzic, Stanisław Słowiński or Marek Pospieszalski. He is a co-founder of the Kosmonauci and USO9001 bands. He has gained experience collaborating with numerous musicians and participating in numerous music workshops, including international ones, e.g. workshops with Dominik Wania, Piotr Wyleżoł, Soweto Kinch (USA), Nate Wooly (USA), Thomas Strønen (Norway), Petter Eldh (Sweden) and Eirik Hegdal (Norway). His classical and jazz education gives him a wide range of sound and performance possibilities, which allows him to perform in various music genres, such as: jazz, ethnic, classical and electronic music.
