Miejski Ogród Zoologiczny w Warszawie

The Warsaw Zoo has more than 3.5 thousand animals in its collection, not counting nearly 10,000 fish and countless invertebrates, representatives of more than 500 species, including about 40 covered by the protection program for endangered species, the so-called EEP (a program implemented by European zoos). For many years it has been a member of WAZA and EAZA – prestigious organizations associating zoos and aquaria in Europe and around the world. There are more than 10 facilities within the area of the garden, which make visiting the ZOO also comfortable in the autumn and winter period.
