Mick Wills
Mick Wills started his DJ career at the age of 14, playing at small private parties in his hometown in the South of Germany. He covers a variety of genres from new wave to high energy. When Mick discovered techno, acid and new beat in the late 80s, he was immediately hooked, while also looking for old disco and funk records on flea markets and record fairs.
In 1994, he performed alongside DJ Hell, who after gave him the opportunity to play at Munich's legendary Ultraschall. At the same time, he began organizing his own parties around Stuttgart together with his friend Isabella Venis. Under the MB Presents moniker, the duo has invited artists such as DJ Hell, Miss Kittin or Terence Fixmer to their city.
In 1996 he collaborated with Klangstabil's Maurizio Blanco at the studio and realized that he wanted to produce his own music. He spent several years on building a studio and develop his skills. Mick recorded his first tracks in 2001, with Hell's International Deejay Gigolo releasing his first records. He began performing all over Europe, with a mix of the best of 25 years of dance music, effortlessly switching between today's sounds, Chicago house, Detroit techno, Italo, high energy, wave, acid and electro.
