Memphis May Fire
Memphis May Fire is a Metalcore band from Dallas, USA.
The band was formed in Dallas by Ryan Bentley (rhythm guitar), Tanner Oakes (bass guitar), Jeremy Grisham (drums), Chase Ryan Robbins (vocals) and Kellen McGregor (vocals, piano, guitar) under the original name O Captain, My Captain! in 2006. In early 2007, the band changed its name to Memphis May Fire.
The band released their first self-titled EP in 2007. In 2009 her debut album titled Sleepwalking was released. The included song Ghost in the Mirror was part of the soundtrack to the horror film Saw VI.
The second album The Hollow was released in 2011, the third with the title Challenger 2012. After Unconditional (2014) and This Light I Hold (2016) _Broken, the band's sixth and latest album was released in 2018.
After several changes in their line-up, Memphis May Fire now consists of Matty Mullins (vocals), Kellen McGregor (lead guitar), Jake Garland (drums) and Cory Elder (bass).
